<p>Browns general manager Andrew Berry said Thursday that Cleveland would allow Colorado's <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///ncaaf/players/179519" href="https://thescore.com/ncaaf/players/179519">Travis Hunter</a> to play both ways if the team drafts him next week.</p><p>"He really never comes off the field. It's unbelievable because there are more plays in a college game than a pro game. The guy barely pants. ... It's quite incredible," Berry told reporters, including <a href="https://x.com/MaryKayCabot/status/1912874104492896756">Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com</a>.</p><p>"That being said, what he would attempt to do has not been really done in our league. But we wouldn't necessarily put a cap or a governor in terms of what he could do. We would want to be smart in how we started him out."</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>He added: "We would see his first home as receiver, and his second home on the defensive side."</p><p>New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen expressed a similar sentiment Wednesday, saying the Giants <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3268975" href="https://thescore.com/news/3268975">wouldn't be afraid</a> to play the Heisman winner on both sides of the ball.</p><p>Berry also compared Hunter to Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani, according to <a href="https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/44716234/browns-gm-says-travis-hunter-unicorn-due-versatility">ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi</a>.</p><p>"It's a little bit like Ohtani, where ... if he's a pitcher or he's a hitter, he's an outstanding player," Berry said. "You obviously get a unicorn if you use him both ways."</p><p>Hunter is currently the favorite to go No. 2 overall to Cleveland. During the 2024 campaign for the Buffaloes, Hunter played 709 snaps on offense as a wide receiver and 713 as a cornerback, according to <a href="https://premium.pff.com/ncaa/players/2024/REG/travis-hunter/160766/snaps-by-position">PFF</a>.</p><p>The 21-year-old allowed a 39.9 passer rating through the air on 428 coverage plays last season while totaling four interceptions. As a wideout, the Colorado product racked up 96 receptions for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns. </p><p>"We're still working through everything. We have not made a hard decision in terms of how we're going to use the No. 2 pick," Berry said, according to <a href="https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/andrew-berry-we-havent-made-a-hard-decision-on-no-2-pick">Pro Football Talk's Myles Simmons</a>.</p><p>"There are a number of guys that we like. Carr's four-year, $150-million contract has also handicapped the salary books. Spencer Rattler, Jake Haener, and Ben DiNucci are the other signal-callers on the Saints' roster. </p><p>New Orleans has the No. 9 selection in the draft and four top-95 picks. Dre Greenlaw, Charvarius Ward, Talanoa Hufanga, Javon Hargrave, and Deebo Samuel all battled ailments and are now gone.</p><p>The 49ers' roster is in transition, but the team still has the talent to make a run in 2025 and bounce back after a fourth-place finish in the NFC West. General manager John Lynch has plenty of picks to work with, as San Francisco holds the fifth-most draft value, per <a href="https://www.tankathon.com/nfl/power_rankings">The Harvard Sports Analysis Collective</a>.</p><p>Lynch has sat back this offseason and watched his roster dwindle, so expect him to be active in the trade market. This isn’t a rebuild - the front office believes it can still compete in the NFC West.</p><p>A general manager doesn’t make this many bold moves without a bigger plan in mind. You don't trade your starting quarterback and borderline star wideout while signing players like Darnold and Kupp if you're not prepared to be aggressive with the assets you recouped from the trades. If Seattle zones in on a player it likes in the first round, it can easily jump up from 18. It can also use its five picks in the first three rounds to trade for players that help the team win now. Schneider has received pushback for how he handled his team this year, and how he navigates the draft will be fascinating to watch.</p><h3>Philadelphia Eagles</h3><p>The Eagles are coming off a dominant Super Bowl victory and have the core of their team returning for next season. However, they lost Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and Mekhi Becton, who all contributed to their 2024 success. General manager Howie Roseman has taken low-risk, high-reward swings on players in free agency, but he's been relatively quiet this offseason.</p><p>If you know Roseman's history, he won't sit back on draft weekend. The 49-year-old made eight trades in last year's draft, tied for the most since the NFL went to seven rounds in 1994, according to <a href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-draft-2024-eagles-tie-nfl-record-for-most-trades-in-7-round-draft-here-are-all-the-moves-made/">CBS Sports' Jeff Kerr</a>. Philadelphia owns the 32nd pick in the first round, but it has plenty of draft capital to work with. It has eight selections this year and is projected to have 12 in 2026.</p><p>Recent drafts have been home runs for the Eagles, producing foundational players like Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, Quinyon Mitchell, and Cooper DeJean. With Roseman’s aggressive, calculated style, expect the Eagles to stay one step ahead of the curve again this year.</p>

<p>Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham announced his retirement Tuesday after 15 seasons in the NFL.</p><p>Graham played his entire career with the Eagles and won two Super Bowls after being selected in the first round of the 2010 draft. His 206 games played are the most in franchise history.</p><p>The 36-year-old suited up in 11 regular-season games in 2024 and totalled 3.5 sacks and seven quarterback hits. He tore his triceps in early December but returned to the lineup for the Eagles' victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Graham said Tuesday that he re-tore his triceps in the contest.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Graham became a key pillar of Philadelphia's defense after struggling early in his career. He tallied just three sacks in his first 16 games but developed into a full-time starter and consistent threat off the edge.</p><p>Graham is famously known for sacking Tom Brady with a little more than two minutes remaining to all but ice Super Bowl 52. The victory gave Philadelphia its first Lombardi trophy in franchise history.</p><p>The Michigan product finishes his NFL run with 153 quarterback hits and 76.5 sacks. He earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2016 and a Pro Bowl nomination in 2020. </p>

The contract makes Stingley the highest-paid defensive back in NFL history. He surpasses <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/161662" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/161662">Jaycee Horn</a>, who signed a deal that paid $25 million per year earlier in March.</p><p>Stingley, 23, is coming off a tremendous season that secured him first-team All-Pro honors. <p>The Kansas City Chiefs are re-signing wide receiver <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/87570" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/87570">JuJu Smith-Schuster</a> to a one-year deal, a source told <a href="https://x.com/TomPelissero/status/1901003149210419504">NFL Network's Tom Pelissero</a>.</p><p>Smith-Schuster suited up for 14 games for the Chiefs last season, totaling 18 receptions for 231 yards and two touchdowns while playing 46% of the team's offensive snaps.</p><p>The 28-year-old played for Kansas City for one season in 2022 but spent the following campaign with the New England Patriots before returning to the Chiefs.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Kansas City hasn't made any outside additions to their wide receiver room so far this offseason. </p><p>The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Smith-Schuster in the second round of the 2017 draft. He has 5,279 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns in 104 career contests.</p>
