<p>Monday night's wild-card matchup may still feel like a home game for the Rams even though it's been relocated to Arizona due to the wildfires in Los Angeles.</p><p>Rams president Kevin Demoff <a href="https://x.com/kdemoff/status/1877818186537873895">revealed</a> on X that over 35,000 of the team's season ticket holders purchased tickets to Los Angeles' playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings during the initial presale. Tickets were first made available to Rams and Arizona Cardinals season ticket holders before going on sale to the general public.</p><p>The Rams-Vikings game was scheduled to be played at SoFi Stadium, but the NFL decided Thursday to <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3185181" href="https://thescore.com/news/3185181">move</a> it to State Farm Stadium in Arizona after consulting with the teams, public officials, and the players' union.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Demoff <a href="https://x.com/kdemoff/status/1877772808958222782">said</a> the Rams will have at least 15 buses transporting season ticket holders to and from the game. <p>Miami Heat president Pat Riley couldn't care less about those who have criticized his managing of the organization. </p><p>During an appearance on the "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ig4U6TYs8Q">Le Batard &amp; Friends - South Beach Sessions</a>" podcast Thursday, Riley was asked to respond to critics who declared him "washed up" following the Heat's first-round playoff loss to the eventual champion Boston Celtics last season. </p><p>"Whoever's saying that, I haven't read it because I'm not on any social media site. Not one," Riley said. "And I don't care, because I've had my ass kicked by the Celtics enough when I was coaching and they're a great team. </p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>"They put together a great organization, they put together a great team. They have broken all the records financially, too, so they've committed themselves. New York has gotten better, and they're going for it. Philly's going for it. We're going for it, too, we're going for it, and this is an important year for the Heat."</p><p>The 79-year-old went on to acknowledge that critics may be right about him, but he's not ready to retire just yet. </p><p>"I don't worry about what critics say because maybe I am (washed up)," Riley said. "Maybe I should go somewhere and just put my feet up, but I would then become obsessive about doing something else, and you don't want me in that state of mind."</p><p>Riley has served as the Heat's president since 1995 and was previously head coach of the team from 1995 through 2003 and again from 2005-08.</p>

"Was probably the first day that ... he kind of told us the whole story and how he remembered looking out the window, and I think it was a cold, snowy day.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>"I really hope he does remember that, that'd be pretty cool."</p><p>Harbaugh was hired by the Chargers in January 2024 after a nine-year stint as head coach at Michigan, where he led the Wolverines to three Big Ten titles and a national championship. </p><p>The Chargers finished the regular season 11-6 to secure the fifth seed in the AFC playoffs. They'll face the Houston Texans on Saturday in the wild-card round.</p>

<p>The NFL's dominance of television viewership in the United States continued in 2024. </p><p>NFL games accounted for 72 of the 100 most-watched U.S. TV broadcasts last year, according to <a href="https://www.sportico.com/business/media/2025/nfl-owns-73-of-top-100-broadcasts-election-undermine-sports-tv-dominance-1234822548/">Anthony Crupi of Sportico</a>. <p>Philadelphia Eagles running back <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/99272" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/99272">Saquon Barkley</a> isn't ready to declare himself a lock for the NFL's rushing title this season.</p><p>Despite having a comfortable lead in the rushing race, Barkley believes Baltimore Ravens running back <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/72385" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/72385">Derrick Henry</a> still has a chance to overtake him. </p><p>"I gotta be careful what I say because Derrick can still get that, you know what I mean?" Barkley said earlier this week, according to <a href="https://www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/eagles-notebook-saquon-barkley-respect-derrick-henry-jalen-carter/639833/">Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia</a>. "He's a special player and you can't count him out of anything."</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Barkley leads the NFL with 2,005 rushing yards through 16 games, but he'll be sitting out the Eagles' regular-season finale Sunday against the New York Giants. Henry enters Week 18 with 1,783 rushing yards, 222 away from Barkley's mark.</p><p>"I'm not gonna lie, I knew that number," Barkley said. "I talked to him today. He was talking to me to see if I was going to get (the record). Obviously, the news came out that I'm sitting. I told him you could do something special, too. Be the first one to do it twice. You never know."</p><p>Henry has led the NFL in rushing twice, including the 2020 campaign when he finished with a career-high 2,027 yards and won Offensive Player of the Year.</p><p>Barkley is 101 yards shy of Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record.</p>

Olympics would need to be about for her to compete. "Because I've accomplished so much, there's almost nothing left to do, rather than to just be snobby and to try again and for what? I'm at a point in my career where I'm humble enough to know when to be done.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>"If you go back, you'll be greedy. Those are the consequences. But that's also your decision to decide. What sacrifices would be made if I go back now? When you're younger, it’s like, prom, college. Now it's like, starting a family, being away from my husband. <p><a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///wnba/players/121626" href="https://thescore.com/wnba/players/121626">Caitlin Clark</a> has her own theory on why the NBA is experiencing a decline in television ratings this season.</p><p>The Indiana Fever star shared her thoughts on the subject while appearing on the "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvqdiXCrMZA&amp;list=PLOY_2V03-NJpOGp6ZqTy_WU8Uq0D5krnG">New Heights</a>" podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce, suggesting fans may want to see a more physical brand of basketball.</p><p>"Honestly, I feel like the average basketball fan doesn't understand how good NBA players are, and they think it looks like they're not trying," Clark said. "I promise you, they are trying, they are ... so good, that's why it looks like they're not trying.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>"And, obviously, the physicality of the league has changed a lot. And I wasn't around when it was much more physical, and maybe people want more beef and physicality and people think it's gotten soft. But I think that's also because the skill has just changed."</p><p>She continued: "That's what's great about basketball, it's always evolving. It's gonna be different from when MJ played, it's gonna be different in 10 years, and it is now."</p><p>Clark also attributed the NBA's ratings decline to the NFL and college football.</p><p>"It's competing against a lot of football right now, you have to take that into consideration," she said. "Football is just ... that's America's favorite thing."</p><p>While ratings have been down overall, the NBA did generate big viewership numbers on Christmas Day. An <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///news/3170793" href="https://thescore.com/news/3170793">average</a> of 5.34 million viewers in the United States tuned into the games, giving the NBA its most-watched Christmas slate in five years.</p>
