Tennessee is also reportedly covering $2.5 million of the receiver's salary.</p><p>Hopkins is expected to arrive in Kansas City on Wednesday and the hope is he can be ready to play Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, sources told <a href="https://x.com/DMRussini/status/1849075786600337625">The Athletic's Dianna Russini</a>.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>The reigning Super Bowl champions were widely speculated to be in the receiver market after losing starters <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/114847" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/114847">Hollywood Brown</a> and <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/188109" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/188109">Rashee Rice</a> to long-term injuries. <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/87570" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/87570">JuJu Smith-Schuster</a> is also expected to miss time with a hamstring issue, leaving rookie <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/199737" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/199737">Xavier Worthy</a> atop one of the NFL's thinnest wide receiving depth charts.</p><p>In Hopkins, the Chiefs will acquire a 32-year-old coming off a resurgent campaign in which he caught 75 passes for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns. Hopkins has been less productive this season, catching only 15 passes for 173 yards and one touchdown through six games, but his statistical dip can perhaps be attributed to an August knee injury and the poor play of Titans quarterback <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nfl/players/188135" href="https://thescore.com/nfl/players/188135">Will Levis</a>.</p><p>At 1-5, it seems the Titans are in seller mode, while the undefeated Chiefs are making a rare splash on the trade market as they continue their push toward an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl title.</p>

It was the first loss in the event for the Americans in the last 11 Summer Olympics.</p><p>China's anchor Pan Zhanle surged past France's Florent Manaudou and held off Armstrong in the last 50 meters of the relay, swimming his leg in under 46 seconds. France's relay team, consisting of breakout star Leon Marchand, rounded out the podium with bronze.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Dressel's 10th Olympic medal and first non-gold leaves him tied for second on the all-time gold medals list among Americans behind Michael Phelps' 23 golds. <p>Canadian judoka Christa Deguchi claimed her country's first gold medal at the 2024 Paris Games by defeating South Korea's Huh Mi-mi in the women's 57kg final on Monday.</p><p>The win came in dramatic fashion, with neither combatant scoring a point in the match before Huh was disqualified in the golden score period for a third shido (penalty) following a false attack.</p><p>Deguchi also went the distance in a scoreless semifinal against home favorite Sarah Leonie Cysique of France, with the Canadian World No. 1 also winning that match on a decisive third shido by her opponent. </p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>In both the final and semifinal, Deguchi finished with two shidos. </p><p>It's Canada's first ever gold medal in judo. </p>

The Jags get the edge via divisional wins tiebreaker and can clinch the AFC South title with a win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 18. Dallas' controversial win over the Detroit Lions on Saturday night created this possibility.</p><p>If the Cowboys beat the Commanders on the road in Week 18, or if the Eagles lose on the road to the New York Giants, Dallas will be NFC East champion.</p><p>The New Orleans Saints' win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers spoiled their NFC South rivals' division title-clinching plans and left both teams at 8-8. The Bucs hold the tiebreaker over the Saints via win percentage in common games since they split the season series and have the same record against NFC South opponents.
