The three-time Pro Bowler led L.A. to a pair of playoff wins before losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.</p><p>The 38-year-old was a key member of the Rams' Super Bowl LVI roster in his first season with the club following a trade from the Detroit Lions.</p><p>Stafford ranks sixth on the NFL's all-time list with 64,516 regular-season passing yards.</p>

"His clear vision for Duke football, deep understanding of our student-athletes, and strong alignment with campus and athletics leadership have positioned us for sustained success in the years ahead."</p><p>Diaz guided Duke to an ACC title last season. The Blue Devils finished their 2025 campaign with a 9-5 mark after defeating Arizona State in the Sun Bowl.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>The 52-year-old has led Duke to an 18-9 record over two seasons. The school hired Diaz in December 2023 following his two-year stint as Penn State's defensive coordinator. He also served as the head coach at Miami from 2019-21.</p>

"People are allowed to say whatever they want. It doesn't really affect me. I know where I'm going and I know no one's going to stop me. So that's where I am with all that."</p><p>Manning threw two fourth-quarter interceptions in an early October defeat to Florida that dropped the Longhorns to 3-2, and the quarterback received plenty of criticism. He credited his teammates for continuing to believe in him.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>"All they did was support me, and we went through it together and started playing better toward the end of the season," Manning said.</p><p>Arch, the nephew of NFL legends Peyton and Eli Manning, ultimately passed for 3,163 yards and 26 touchdowns and ran for 399 yards and 10 scores in his first season as a full-time starter.</p><p>Texas finished with a 10-3 record but missed out on a berth in the College Football Playoff following losses to Ohio State, Florida, and Georgia. The Longhorns earned a statement win over Michigan in the Citrus Bowl and Manning nabbed MVP honors.</p><p>"I wanted a chance to play for a national championship, but I was more bummed for my teammates that I didn't do enough to win those early games, that I didn't play well enough," Manning said.</p><p>Cooper Manning, Arch's father, said that the possibility of his son declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft was "never discussed in any way, shape, or form."</p><p>Arch has been a limited participant in practices during the spring session after undergoing minor foot surgery in January. Head coach Steve Sarkisian is confident the passer will be able to return to the field prior to the start of summer camp. The redshirt junior said he's working to improve his accuracy after ranking toward the bottom of the SEC with a 61.4% completion rate.</p><p>Manning said the Longhorns have "weapons" across the offense after bringing in an impressive haul via the transfer portal. Receiver <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///ncaaf/players/195858" href="https://thescore.com/ncaaf/players/195858">Cam Coleman</a> headlines a group of new arrivals that also includes running backs <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///ncaaf/players/184462" href="https://thescore.com/ncaaf/players/184462">Hollywood Smothers</a> and <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///ncaaf/players/171903" href="https://thescore.com/ncaaf/players/171903">Raleek Brown</a>.</p><p>"If we stay healthy and are more consistent, I think we're going to be a great team," Manning said.</p>

<p>The New Orleans Pelicans aren't planning to part ways with <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/69536" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/69536">Zion Williamson</a> despite missing the playoffs for a second consecutive year.</p><p>"Listen, we have no intentions of doing that," executive of basketball operations Joe Dumars said Tuesday, according to <a href="https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/pelicans-zion-williamson-trade-rumors-joe-dumars/">CBS Sports' James Herbert</a>. "We're going into the offseason looking forward to Zion coming back next year and playing great again next year."</p><p>Williamson had one of his best seasons after back and hamstring injuries limited him to 30 games during the 2024-25 campaign. He played in 62 contests this season, his second most since being drafted in 2019. The two-time All-Star averaged 21 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.</p><div class="the-score-article-ad-unit"></div><p>Dumars also brushed off the perception that Williamson's presence makes for an awkward fit alongside <a data-in-app-uri="thescore:///nba/players/171825" href="https://thescore.com/nba/players/171825">Derik Queen</a>, who moved to a reserve role in late February.</p><p>Williamson himself has been equally adamant that he doesn't want to play anywhere else.</p><p>"New Orleans is home for me," Williamson told reporters Monday. "I don't say that because I'm sitting in front of these cameras or talking to y'all. When the offseason hits, a lot of guys leave the city. I live here. I stay here in the city. I go out. I do different things to try to get to know the city more. This is home for me. I've been here since I was 19 years old. I do want to be here long term."</p><p>Williamson, 25, has two years remaining on five-year, $197-million deal signed in July 2022, per <a href="https://www.spotrac.com/nba/player/_/id/31558/zion-williamson">Spotrac</a>. The Duke product is eligible to sign a three-year extension worth up to $177 million this offseason, Herbert reports.</p><p>Dumars also said that while the Pelicans haven't finalized a list of candidates for their vacant head coaching position, interim coach James Borrego will be considered for the full-time role. Borrego took over in November after the team parted ways with Willie Green following a 2-10 start.</p>
