The Philadelphia Phillies agreed to a minor-league deal with veteran right-hander Lou Trivino, a source told The Athletic's Matt Gelb.
The Los Angeles Dodgers released Trivino on July 27 after he posted a 3.76 ERA in 26 appearances.
The 33-year-old began the season with the San Francisco Giants, where he authored a 5.84 ERA and 7.00 FIP in 12 1/3 innings.
Philadelphia's bullpen ranks 24th in ERA and is without left-hander José Alvarado, who is serving an 80-game suspension.
The Phillies added closer Jhoan Duran at the trade deadline and signed right-hander David Robertson on July 21. Robertson's made four appearances at Triple-A and is expected to join the Phillies in the near future.
