The Milwaukee Brewers continue to rewrite their franchise's record books, as they reached the 100-win mark for the first time in team history with a 5-1 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday.
Milwaukee is also the first MLB team to win 100 games since 2023, when three clubs reached the century mark.
The Brewers had been one of seven active teams without a 100-win season. The Colorado Rockies, Miami Marlins, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays, and Washington Nationals are the six remaining clubs that have never reached the milestone.

Thursday's win, combined with the Los Angeles Dodgers' loss, ensured the Brewers will finish with baseball's best record for a second straight year and have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The game was tied until Milwaukee broke it open with three runs in the top of the eighth. Jackson Chourio added another run with a solo homer in the top of the ninth, and Antonio Senzatela closed out the Brewers' historic victory in the bottom half.

The Brewers' previous franchise high in wins was 97, set last year.
This season has been a continuation of what's turned into the golden era of Brewers baseball. Pat Murphy's club has made the playoffs eight times in the last nine years and won at least 95 games four times in that span.
However, the team's regular-season success has yet to result in any rings. Milwaukee's reached the NLCS twice during its prosperous run (2018, 2025) but was beaten by the Dodgers both times. The Brewers' lone pennant came in 1982, when they won the American League title but lost that year's World Series to the St. Louis Cardinals.
