Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Jonathan Aranda won't start Game 3 of the World Series against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday.
Rays manager Kevin Cash is holding Aranda out of the starting lineup despite the 28-year-old not being injured, according to ESPN's Jorge Castillo.
Instead, Tampa Bay will start right-handed hitter Ryan Vilade at first base, matching him up against Brewers left-hander Robert Gasser, who's starting Game 3 for Milwaukee.
