Mateusz Gamrot has replaced Rafael Fiziev and will square off with Charles Oliveira in the UFC Rio de Janeiro main event Oct. 11, the promotion announced Tuesday.
Fiziev withdrew from the card last week due to an undisclosed injury.
Gamrot, the No. 8-ranked lightweight, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Ludovit Klein in May. The 34-year-old Polish fighter is 4-1 in his past five Octagon appearances.
Oliveira, a former 155-pound champion, is looking to get back on track after suffering a devastating knockout loss to Ilia Topuria in a vacant title bout at UFC 317 in June. "Do Bronx" is 2-2 in his last four outings.
The 35-year-old Oliveira will compete in his native Brazil for the first time since March 2020.
