Maxi Kleber made his Los Angeles Lakers debut in Wednesday's 103-96 Game 5 elimination loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He checked into the game at the 2:48 mark of the first quarter.

Kleber last stepped on an NBA floor Jan. 25. He underwent surgery to repair a broken right foot at the end of January.

The 6-foot-10 forward was acquired from the Dallas Mavericks as part of the Luka Doncic trade.

Kleber has averaged 6.4 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 34.3% from three in 440 career games - all as a Maverick. He started three of Dallas' five Finals games against the Boston Celtics last season.

L.A. had struggled with its depth against the Timberwolves, as only seven players are averaging more than 10 minutes per game heading into Game 5.

Kleber finished the night with two points and one turnover in five minutes of action.
