Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs required help getting off the court after suffering an apparent non-contact knee injury during Sunday's 111-102 win over the New York Knicks.
Suggs landed awkwardly on his right knee after missing a transition lay-up with 2:11 remaining in the fourth quarter. The 25-year-old remained down in noticeable pain before he was helped back to the locker room.
NOT what the Magic needed. Jalen Suggs goes down clutching his right knee going up for a layup without contact. @DanteMagic and Jeff Turner were right on it to not speculate the injury. But not good for the Magic who have terrible injury luck https://t.co/dGyAB6D7Cd

Suggs finished the night with four points, six rebounds, and six assists on 2-of-8 shooting in 34 minutes of action.
A long-term absence for Suggs could be a significant blow for the Magic, especially after the team lost fellow starter Paolo Banchero to a high ankle sprain in Friday's defeat against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Banchero is expected to miss multiple weeks with the injury.
The victory over the winless Knicks marked Orlando's first win of the campaign following losses to the Atlanta Hawks and T-Wolves.
