Cleveland Guardians third baseman José Ramírez became the franchise leader in games played on Monday, appearing in his 1,620th contest against the Kansas City Royals.

The Guardians celebrated the third baseman's milestone by gifting him with a base from his position.

Ramírez debuted for Cleveland in September 2013.

The 33-year-old has appeared in every game of his 14-year career with Cleveland and is the only active player to lead his franchise in games played, according to MLB.com's Sarah Langs.

Ramírez also sits in the top five in franchise history in homers, RBIs, runs scored, doubles, and total bases.
