The Los Angeles Rams laid an absolute egg in their season debut against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, and social media let them have it.
The Rams were billed as an NFL superteam coming into the season, but they looked lethargic and fell 27-7 in Australia after flying in from Los Angeles the day before. The club added Myles Garrett, Trent McDuffie, Jaylen Watson, and others in the offseason after reaching the NFC title game last year, but none of them made an impact in Melbourne, and the memes flew in as they got their doors blown off:
