The Las Vegas Raiders are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2021 after downing the New Orleans Saints 35-27 on Sunday.
The Raiders are the first team to start 3-0 after selecting first overall in the preceding NFL draft since the 2013 Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City started that season 9-0 en route to an 11-5 finish after drafting tackle Eric Fisher with the No. 1 pick that year. The Raiders selected quarterback Fernando Mendoza in April.
Star tight end Brock Bowers powered the Raiders to victory by reeling in 10 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in his season debut. Bowers missed the first two games of the year after undergoing a meniscus trim prior to the start of the new campaign.
Raiders signal-caller Kirk Cousins continued his strong start to the season by throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns while committing no turnovers.
