Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding Carolina Hurricanes counterpart Jackson Blake late in the first period of Game 3 on Saturday.

Blake was bloodied by the hit but was able to leave the ice under his own power.

Luostarinen has been a key contributor to Florida's success this postseason. The 26-year-old entered Game 3 with 13 points in 14 playoff games while leading the playoffs with a plus-12. Luostarinen has primarily been deployed on the third line with Anton Lundell and Brad Marchand, and the trio has outscored opposition 10-2 at five-on-five, according to Natural Stat Trick.

Blake's notched three goals and three assists in the playoffs. The rookie winger had 34 points in the regular season.
