Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi remains out indefinitely after failing his physical to begin training camp, general manager John Chayka announced Wednesday.
Domi was deemed out indefinitely in May after experiencing complications from an offseason surgery.
The 31-year-old tallied 12 goals and 36 points in 80 games with the Maple Leafs last season. It was his third year with Toronto.
Domi has two years remaining on his contract with a $3.75-million cap hit. He projects to begin the season on long-term injured reserve.
