Renata Fast of the Toronto Sceptres, Hilary Knight of the Boston Fleet, and Marie-Philip Poulin of the Montreal Victoire were named finalists for the 2025 PWHL Billie Jean King MVP award Thursday.
Fast is the first defender to be nominated for MVP in the PWHL's two-year existence. She led the league in ice time this season and finished eighth in scoring with 22 points in 30 games.
Knight tied the league lead with 29 points and logged more minutes than any other forward.
Poulin, an MVP finalist last season, led the league with 19 goals in 2024-25 to help the Victoire to a first-place finish. She ended the campaign ranked fourth with 26 points.
Toronto Sceptres forward Natalie Spooner won the league's inaugural MVP award in 2024.
