The WNBA is rescinding Caitlin Clark's eighth technical foul of the season, which would have automatically suspended her for the Indiana Fever's game Tuesday against the New York Liberty, according to ESPN's Kareem Copeland.
Clark received a technical in a controversial incident during Saturday's 90-86 win over the Chicago Sky with a little over a minute remaining in the third quarter. She appeared to get knocked off balance by Natasha Cloud but managed to deliver a pass to a cutting Myisha Hines-Allen. Her momentum then carried her into the baseline referee, who called the technical on the Fever star.
Caitlin Clark received her 8th technical foul of the season on this play, meaning she will have to serve a one-game suspension unless the WNBA rescinds the foul.

Crew chief Maj Forsberg told reporters postgame that the official assessed the technical because they "deemed that Clark intentionally made contact" with them, per Filedhouse Files' Scott Agness.
"The league office will review whether any additional penalty should be assessed," Forsberg said when asked how the official knew Clark's contact was intentional.
The league's decision to rescind leaves Clark with seven technicals on the season, still one short of triggering a one-game suspension.
Fever coach Stephanie White was also assessed a technical after coming to Clark's defense, though hers was not rescinded.
Clark finished with a double-double of 26 points and 11 assists while shooting 5-of-6 from deep to improve the Fever to 20-12 on the season.
