D-Backs' Lovullo ejects entire umpiring crew after getting tossed

Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo had one of the best ejections in recent memory after getting heated about an obstruction call in the eighth inning of Wednesday's game against the San Francisco Giants.

After he was ejected for arguing about the play getting overturned, Lovullo decided to give the umpires a taste of their own medicine by individually tossing the crew members.

However, the 59-year-old skipper admitted postgame the umpires did make the right call when they ruled that Diamondbacks second baseman Jordan Lawlar obstructed Giants baserunner Christian Koss after the latter was originally called out following a collision between the two players.

"They're really good," Lovullo said, according to Steve Kroner of The Associated Press. "Umpires are good. I stand corrected."

He added: "In the heat of the moment, it wasn't adding up to me, and I felt like they were just trying to cover themselves a little bit. But in reality, there was obstruction called."
