The Detroit Tigers got good news Saturday on left-handed ace Tarik Skubal.
"It's all good news. The scan came back clean," manager A.J. Hinch said, according to The Associated Press. "So obviously, that's great for us and great for him."
Hinch said the Tigers will monitor the progress of the 28-year-old Cy Young candidate, but as of right now, he's expected to make his next start, according to Chris McCosky of the Detroit News.
Skubal exited Friday's game against the Miami Marlins in the fourth inning with tightness in his left side.
