James Harden feels underappreciated when it comes to his work ethic.

The Los Angeles Clippers star told Overtime's Mike Kaufman that the secret behind his NBA longevity is his hard work over the years - something he believes a lot of people overlook.

"Work. I don't feel like I get enough credit for the work that I put in," Harden said. "You know, people want to talk about everything else that they honestly do not know about. But in honesty, the work is being put in. And if the work isn't being put in, then these opportunities wouldn't be happening for me."

Harden has yet to win a championship, but he has achieved a number of other accolades over his 16-year career, including an MVP award, 11 NBA All-Star appearances, six All-NBA First Team nods, and being named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.

The 35-year-old is averaging 22.6 points, 8.7 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game this season.
