Bulls' White irked by Giannis' 'disrespectful' dunk in final seconds
Coby White wasn't thrilled about Giannis Antetokounmpo's windmill dunk in the final seconds of the Milwaukee Bucks' 112-103 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.
"He shouldn't have dunked the ball," White told reporters postgame, including K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network. "It's disrespectful to the game. I said, 'Bro, you're better than that. The game is over with. Why you gotta do that?' It's a respect thing."
Antetokounmpo initially appeared to be dribbling out the clock with the game out of reach. However, the two-time MVP had other plans, as he accelerated to the basket for a highlight-reel slam.
White and Bulls teammate Nikola Vucevic quickly approached Antetokounmpo after the final buzzer to express their displeasure with the Bucks superstar's actions.
Players from both teams subsequently joined the trio on the court and began jawing at one another. The coaching staffs then stepped in to separate the players.

Antetokounmpo defended his last-second jam postgame.
"We're 11th in the East. ... Got to keep finding an identity," Antetokounmpo said, according to ESPN's Jamal Collier. "If that's to get a little bit scrappy at the end, so be it. We're not the champs. Why should we play the clock out? Have respect and fair play? We're fighting for our lives right now."
Antetokounmpo added: "I've been 13 years in the league. If we keep on losing, probably half of the team not going to be here. We're not going to make the playoffs. ... And if (a windmill dunk) is what has to happen for everybody to wake up and understand we're fighting for our lives, so be it."
Meanwhile, Vucevic decided to poke fun at the ongoing trade rumors surrounding Antetokounmpo.
"Usually when the game is over, you just dribble the ball out," Vucevic said, according to Johnson. "I assume Giannis was mad about that report that came out that the Bulls wouldn't trade for him and he wanted to prove a point."
Antetokounmpo was making his first appearance since Dec. 3, when he sustained a right calf strain against the Detroit Pistons.
The nine-time All-Star tallied 29 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block to help the Bucks end Chicago's five-game win streak.
