Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic will start in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game on a minutes restriction, a source told The Athletic's Dan Woike.
The five-time All-NBA selection will only suit up in the first game of the mini-tournament, Woike reports.
Doncic missed the Lakers' past four games after suffering a mild hamstring strain Feb. 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
"I feel pretty good. I think will try to play a little bit," Doncic told reporters, including Woike, at All-Star media day Saturday.
Doncic is set to make his sixth career All-Star appearance in eight seasons.
The 26-year-old is averaging a league-leading 32.8 points, 8.6 assists, 7.8 boards, and 1.5 steals across 42 appearances this season.
