The Oklahoma City Thunder picked up veteran wing Luguentz Dort's $17.7-million team option for the 2026-27 campaign, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
The 27-year-old spent the last seven seasons with the Thunder after he went undrafted in 2019 out of Arizona State and signed a two-way deal with the organization.
Dort quickly established himself as a physical two-way presence and elite on-ball defender whose contributions were vital to Oklahoma City's ascension. He was named to the NBA's All-Defensive first team in 2025 and won a championship with the Thunder the same year.
Last season, Dort averaged 8.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.2 steals on 38.5% shooting across 69 regular-season games. His 26.8 minutes per game represented his lowest mark since his rookie campaign in 2019-20.
