Florida's Condon returns in 2nd half after injuring ankle vs. Maryland
Florida sophomore Alex Condon sustained an ankle injury just over seven minutes against Maryland but returned in the second half of Thursday's 87-71 Sweet 16 victory.
It's the same ankle that Condon sprained earlier this season.
The Gators previously listed Condon as questionable to return, a school spokesman told CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.
Condon appeared to roll his ankle while diving for a loose ball. He was unable to put any weight on his right foot and needed to be assisted to the locker room.
Condon was attempting to stay loose on a stationary bike during the first half. He rejoined the team for the warmup before the second half, according to Edgar Thompson of The Orlando Sentinel.
Condon finished with six points, four boards, and two assists in 14 minutes.
Condon entered Thursday's contest leading the team in both rebounds (7.8 per game) and blocks (1.4).
