San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel believes it's time for his club to raise the Lombardi Trophy.

"It's either now or never. That's how I kinda look at it," Samuel said on his podcast, "Cleats and Convos."

"With the guys that we have ... I've been a part of the best team in the NFL for the past going on six years. We always there, we got to get it done."

The 49ers have reached the conference championship in three straight seasons. They made it to the Super Bowl last year but lost in overtime to the Kansas City Chiefs. Samuel was also defeated by the Chiefs in the Super Bowl during his rookie campaign in 2019.

San Francisco retained most of its roster from last year. Brandon Aiyuk re-signed following messy public negotiations this offseason, while star offensive tackle Trent Williams agreed to a restructured deal after holding out of training camp.

General manager John Lynch has difficult roster decisions to make in 2025. Dre Greenlaw, Deommodore Lenoir, and Charvarius Ward are all set to become unrestricted free agents after the campaign.

Quarterback Brock Purdy is also eligible for a contract extension after earning less than $1 million in each of his first three seasons.

San Francisco ranks fourth in regular-season wins since 2021, trailing only the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Dallas Cowboys. The team is off to a 1-1 start after falling to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.

"In my eyes, we've been the best team in the league for a while," Samuel added.
