Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. will miss the team's Week 10 contest against the Buffalo Bills due to finger and back injuries, head coach Shane Steichen announced Friday.
Pittman has been dealing with a back issue since Week 6. It was originally reported that he would miss multiple weeks and could land on injured reserve, but he's played through it and hasn't missed any games.
The 27-year-old did not practice this week.
Pittman has caught 30 of his 57 targets for 366 yards and two touchdowns while playing 86% of the team's offensive snaps this season.
Josh Downs and Alec Pierce are expected to operate as the team's top wideouts in Pittman's absence, while rookie Adonai Mitchell is likely to see more snaps.
