Prescott becomes Cowboys' all-time passing leader
Dak Prescott passed Tony Romo as the Dallas Cowboys' all-time leader in career passing yards Sunday, rewriting the team's record books during a home game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Prescott entered the matchup 159 yards shy of Romo, who passed for 34,183 yards in 156 games as a member of the Cowboys from 2004-16.
The 32-year-old broke the team record with a pass to George Pickens in the third quarter against the Eagles in his 133rd appearance as a Cowboy.

Prescott won the starting role over Romo as a fourth-round rookie in 2016 and has since established himself as one of the NFL's most consistent QBs.
Dallas' record for passing touchdowns is likely next for Prescott. He's tossed 235 TDs, while Romo tops the franchise with 248 passing scores.
