Report: Parsons feared to have suffered torn ACL

The Green Bay Packers believe pass-rusher Micah Parsons suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's 34-26 defeat to the Denver Broncos, a source told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Parsons will have an MRI to confirm the injury.

The Packers edge rusher suffered a noncontact injury during the third quarter as he was attempting to pressure Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. He went down and immediately grabbed his left knee. He was helped to the locker room after being assessed on the field by team trainers.

Parsons entered Sunday's contest with 12.5 sacks, 26 quarterback hits, and one forced fumble.

Green Bay acquired the four-time Pro Bowler in a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Cowboys in August. The Packers parted with defensive tackle Kenny Clark and their 2026 and 2027 first-round picks in the deal. They also signed Parsons to a four-year, $188-million contract.

Parsons was a major reason why the Packers' defense entered Sunday allowing only 19 points per game, good for sixth in the league.
