Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams' hamstring injury is considered a week-to-week issue, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The injury is an aggravation of a previous ailment he was nursing, Rapoport adds. Adams is expected to miss Thursday night's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

Adams re-injured himself during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 41-34 victory over the Detroit Lions. The veteran pulled up limp after running a vertical route downfield.

Head coach Sean McVay said postgame that the injury didn't look good but he wasn't ready to rule out Adams for Thursday night's contest.

The upcoming prime-time matchup carries massive stakes for the NFC West and the No. 1 seed in the conference. Both the Rams and Seahawks enter at 11-3, tied for the best record in the NFC.

Adams has played a huge role in the Rams' passing attack, especially in the red zone. He's put up 789 receiving yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns.
