The Green Bay Packers are signing defensive tackle Javon Hargrave to a two-year, $23-million contract, his agent told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Hargrave's deal includes $13 million guaranteed.

The two-time Pro Bowl defender was officially released by the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday at the start of the new league year.

Hargrave signed a two-year, $30-million deal with Minnesota as a free agent last year after a torn triceps limited him to three games with the San Francisco 49ers in 2024.

The 33-year-old started 15 games for the Vikings, racking up four tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.

The Vikings created $10.95 million in salary cap space by moving on from the the veteran after one season, per Spotrac's Michael Ginnitti.

Hargrave joins his fifth NFL franchise after entering the NFL as a third-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016. He's spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles along with the Niners and Vikings.

Hargrave gives the Packers more depth on their interior defensive line after they traded Colby Wooden to the Indianapolis Colts for linebacker Zaire Franklin.
