The Minnesota Vikings agreed to terms with Seattle Seahawks executive Nolan Teasley to become their new general manager, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Teasley spent the past four seasons as the Seahawks' assistant general manager, overseeing football operations while working alongside GM John Schneider. He initially joined Seattle in 2013 as an intern and gradually rose through the scouting department.

The Seahawks will receive third-round picks in each of the next two NFL drafts for the Vikings' hire of Teasley as part of the league's diversity and inclusion program, according to ESPN's Brady Henderson.

Teasley will replace Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, who the Vikings dismissed in January after posting a 9-8 record and missing the playoffs.

Minnesota's decision to part ways with Kwesi Adofo-Mensah came nearly seven months after signing the GM and head coach Kevin O'Connell to multi-year extensions.

Team owners Zygi and Mark Wilf reportedly tasked executive vice president of football operations Rob Brzezinski with leading the front office through the 2026 NFL Draft and free agency after Adofo-Mensah's dismissal.

Brzezinski also spearheaded the Vikings' efforts to trim down their financial expenses, releasing veterans Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave. Minnesota traded pass-rusher Jonathan Greenard to the Philadelphia Eagles in April as well.

Brzezinski, who interviewed for the GM role, plans to stay with the organization and work with Teasley and O'Connell, according to the MMQB's Albert Breer.
