Anaheim Ducks forward Mason McTavish is skating with the OHL's Ottawa 67s as he remains without a contract, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
McTavish is one of four restricted free agents who are unsigned as on-ice sessions at training camps commence Thursday.
The Ducks would prefer a long-term contract over a bridge deal, reports Friedman.
McTavish netted a career-high 22 goals and 52 points in 76 games last season. The 22-year-old has accumulated 60 goals and 140 points in 229 contests with the Ducks since being drafted third overall in 2021.
Anaheim has a recent history of drawn-out RFA negotiations, as it didn't sign Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale until early October in 2023. The Ducks have since traded both players.
