Victoire's Poulin wins PWHL playoff MVP award

Marie-Philip Poulin captured the Ilana Kloss Playoff MVP Award after her Montreal Victoire won the Walter Cup on Wednesday.

Poulin tied for the playoff lead in scoring with eight points in nine games. The Victoire captain tallied two goals, both game-winners, across the postseason and notched three assists in four games in the Walter Cup Final against the Ottawa Charge.

Poulin adds the award and her first Walter Cup to an already remarkable resume, which includes three Olympic gold medals and the 2025 PWHL MVP.

The 35-year-old battled through a lower-body injury throughout the postseason. Poulin was first injured at the Olympics in February and suffered a setback in March, missing 10 games before returning for the regular-season finale.
