Belgium advanced to the round of 16 at the World Cup with an astonishing 3-2 comeback victory over Senegal in extra time on Wednesday.
Youri Tielemans scored the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 125th minute after a contentious call and lengthy video review.

It was a minor miracle that Belgium even got the match to extra time to begin with.
The Red Devils, trailing 2-0 with only minutes remaining in normal time in Seattle, stormed back with two late goals out of nowhere to equalize.
Senegal appeared to be sauntering to the last 16 after tallies from Habib Diarra and Ismaila Sarr on either side of the halftime interval.
But Belgium got goals from substitute Romelu Lukaku and Tielemans just 161 seconds apart to extend the game. Lukaku's tally gave Belgium life in the 86th minute, and Tielemans equalized with a header shortly after to cap a dizzying sequence of play.
The match seemed destined for a shootout until Belgium was awarded a spot-kick after a long VAR-assisted review determined that Lamine Camara committed a foul on Tielemans inside the penalty area.
