Report: Rangers bring back Martin on 1-year pact

The Texas Rangers and reliever Chris Martin have agreed to a one-year contract, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.
Financial details of the deal aren't known.
Martin authored a 2.98 ERA with 1.20 WHIP and 9.1 K/9 over 49 appearances with Texas in 2025.
The 39-year-old owns a career 3.33 ERA with 3.58 FIP and 400 strikeouts across 10 years in the majors with the Rangers, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, and Colorado Rockies.
