The Oklahoma City Thunder are finalizing a trade that sends Aaron Wiggins to the Atlanta Hawks for two future second-round draft picks, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Oklahoma City will receive Atlanta's second-rounder in 2030 and the least favorable draft selection of the Hawks or Los Angeles Lakers in 2032, adds Charania.

The move opens up a roster spot for the Thunder and reduces their projected luxury tax penalty to $152 million, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

Oklahoma City selected Wiggins with the No. 55 overall pick in 2021. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 9.4 points and shot 35.6% from deep across 65 appearances last season.

Wiggins had a minimal role during the club's 2025-26 postseason run, registering only 5.8 minutes per contest. He has three more years remaining on his contract, including an $8.2-million team option for 2028-29.
