Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta is off the injury report and on track to play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced Friday.
LaPorta missed the Lions' 52-6 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars last week due to a shoulder injury. He also battled an ankle injury earlier this season but did not miss time due to the issue.
The Pro Bowl tight end is third on the team in receiving yards with 366 and has caught three touchdown passes from quarterback Jared Goff.
Detroit currently occupies the top spot in the NFC at 9-1 after ripping off eight consecutive victories.
