MNF bets: 6 value plays for Rams-Falcons

This game between the Falcons and Rams lost a little juice after the 49ers won Sunday night, eliminating the Rams from NFC West contention. Los Angeles can now only finish as either the fifth or sixth seed in the conference and may have already turned its attention to getting healthy for the playoffs.

With that in mind, let's get to our pick against the spread, favorite touchdown scorers, and player prop bets for Monday night.

🏈 Pick: Falcons (+7.5)

This spread has moved in the Falcons' favor after the Rams were eliminated from the NFC West race, but it's still above a converted touchdown. I'll side with the Falcons and 7.5 points at home against a traveling Los Angeles squad.

The Rams will be without Davante Adams and could look to lessen the load of other key players in preparation for a hopefully deep postseason run. Despite not earning a division crown, L.A. remains the Super Bowl favorite at theScore Bet. The team will need Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams, and key defensive players to have any hope, which means it won't overwork its starters and risk injuries in an attempt to run up the score in a meaningless game.

The Falcons aren't playing for much, either. But being the home team is beneficial, and they'll still want to put on a show for their fans in prime time.

πŸ™Œ Bet: Anytime TD (+200)

Pitts has been a monster in recent weeks and is playing the best football of his career. He's recorded 24 receptions on 31 targets for 313 receiving yards and four touchdowns over his last three games while running the most routes (106) on the Falcons' offense. We'll continue to ride Pitts after he hit for us in Week 15.

πŸ™Œ Bet: Anytime TD (+260)

Let's roll with two tight ends and go with Ferguson, who's emerged as a legit weapon in McVay's offense. The rookie has played over 73% of the offensive snaps over the last two contests, and he should see a similar workload Monday night, as the Rams lean into 13 personnel with Adams sidelined. Ferguson scored a touchdown last week, and this number provides good value compared to other Rams players in this game.

🏈 Bet: Over 4.5 receptions

Robinson has caught 15 passes over the last two contests and has reeled in at least five balls in three of his previous four outings. As a primary target in the Falcons' passing attack, Kirk Cousins should continue to look Robinson's way.

🏈 Bet: Over 10.5 rushing attempts

I'd expect to see a fairly even split in carries between Williams and Corum, a trend that's been developing for the Rams. Williams has out-carried Corum 51 to 37 over the last three games, but Corum has received at least 11 carries in three straight.

🏈 Bet: Over 2.5 receptions

With Adams out last week, Mumpfield received eight targets from Stafford. He only had three receptions, but it's the volume that we're attacking. Mumpfield may even see more playing time if Nacua sits out a few extra plays later in the game.
