Ricky Pearsall's injury woes continue.
The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver missed practice Wednesday while dealing with knee swelling related to the PCL injury he suffered last year, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Eric Branch.
The 49ers are "evaluating options" with "some concern" about Pearsall, Branch reports. Pearsall has played 20 games since entering the NFL as a first-round pick in 2024 and made just nine appearances last season.
When healthy, the 25-year-old has had promising moments, averaging 13.9 yards per catch in his career. He's caught 67 passes for 928 yards and three touchdowns in the league.
Major injuries have been a huge factor for the 49ers in the past two seasons. Christian Kirk, who joined the team this offseason, has also been limited at training camp with a calf issue. San Francisco also signed six-time Pro Bowl wideout Mike Evans in the offseason.
