The New Orleans Saints fear that defensive tackle Bryan Bresee sustained a torn ACL, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report.

Bresee is undergoing tests to confirm the diagnosis, but the former first-round pick is likely done for the season, Rapoport and Garafolo added.

The 24-year-old suffered the injury Wednesday at training camp. He was set to enter his fourth season with New Orleans after being selected 29th overall in 2023.

Bresee racked up 14.5 sacks, 86 tackles, and 31 quarterback hits through his first 49 NFL appearances.

He played collegiately at Clemson and earned ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year honors in 2020.
