New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers participated in individual drills during the team's first training camp session Wednesday, his first practice since a season-ending knee injury last September.
Nabers appeared to be running routes at full speed and was catching passes from quarterback Jaxson Dart. Head coach John Harbaugh said the wideout "looked good," but added that it will be a while before he practices fully and is included in team drills, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan.
Harbaugh and general manager Joe Schoen wouldn't commit to Nabers being ready for the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 13 when asked about it after practice.

"We've got a really good plan for him," Schoen said. "The medical staff has a really good plan for him, and we're going to always say listen to the patients. So, we're going to see how he reacts.
"We got a good plan in place, so as long as everything goes as planned, we'll listen to Malik and his body. And, again, hopefully he'll be ready and we'll see how it plays out. But no predictions right now, just because we have a long way to go. Still a lot of camp."
Nabers underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL and meniscus in October. He played in just four games last season, recording 18 catches for 271 yards and four touchdowns.
The 23-year-old had an incredible rookie campaign in 2024, posting 109 receptions on 170 targets for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns. Nabers barely played with Dart last year, as the quarterback only took over the starting job in Week 4, the same contest the wide receiver injured his knee.
"Well, he definitely has a presence about him. There's an aura that he has on the field that is exhilarating," Dart said of Nabers. "It makes me happy, everybody's happy, to see him out on the field. And I think for him, he's had a lot of positives. So, we're just going to continue to get him in slowly, and he's doing a great job with attacking his recovery."
Nabers was selected sixth overall in the 2024 draft out of LSU. His 77.63 receiving yards per game rank seventh across the league over the last two seasons, according to TruMedia.
