Panthers' Greer suspended 3 games for boarding Flames' Zary

The NHL's Department of Player Safety suspended Florida Panthers forward A.J. Greer three games for boarding Calgary Flames forward Connor Zary.
Greer was assessed a major penalty for interference and a game misconduct on the play in Friday's game.

Zary will miss Calgary's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday due to an upper-body injury.
This is the second suspension of Greer's career. He was banned one game in March 2023 for cross-checking.
Greer has 24 points and 109 penalty minutes in 68 contests this season. The 29-year-old has racked up 444 penalty minutes in 316 career games.
