The Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Jack Roslovic to a two-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.
The deal comes with a $4-million cap hit, reports TSN's Chris Johnston.
Roslovic tallied 21 goals and 36 points in 69 games last season with the Edmonton Oilers. Last offseason, he remained a free agent until October, at which point he signed a $1.5-million deal with Edmonton.
The 29-year-old has eclipsed the 20-goal mark three times, including the past two seasons. Roslovic has three goals and 18 points in 51 career playoff games.
Roslovic was teammates with Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews while with the U.S. national team development program.
The Columbus native has 123 goals and 296 points in 595 career games with the Winnipeg Jets, Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Carolina Hurricanes, and Oilers.
