The Los Angeles Clippers are nearing a trade to send Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, two first-round picks, one pick swap, and two second-rounders, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The right to swap picks is for 2027, according to Charania. Toronto is reportedly sending unprotected first-rounders in 2031 and 2033, and the second-round selections are in 2030 and 2033.

Leonard will soon engage with the Raptors on a contract extension, sources told Prime Video's Chris Haynes.

The two-time Finals MVP is eligible to sign a two-year extension worth $124 million, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

Leonard preferred to stay with the Clippers, but the team wasn't willing to offer him a long-term extension, Charania reports.

Leonard led the Raptors to their first and only NBA title during his lone campaign with the club in 2018-19.

He averaged a career-high 27.9 points, 6.4 boards, 3.6 assists, and 1.9 steals across 65 appearances last season. He finished seventh in MVP voting and earned his seventh career All-Star selection.

Ingram had a resurgent campaign during his only season with the Raptors, averaging 21.5 points and getting his second career All-Star nod. He'll earn $40 million this season and holds a $41.9-million player option for 2027-28.

Toronto selected Dick with the No. 13 overall pick in 2023. The Kansas product averaged 14.4 points in 2024-25, but his playing time declined significantly last season.
