The Rockets are reintroducing a "championship yellow" to their color scheme in a nod to their jersey trim when they won back-to-back titles in 1994 and 1995.

The rebrand includes a new set of jerseys that bear a strong resemblance to those worn by the championship teams with a modernized typeface.

The Rockets last overhauled their look in 2019-20, changing the logo to feature a black and gray basketball in the background with the full team name appearing on a planetary ring around the ball.
