Lamar Jackson to make acting debut in 'Raising Kanan'
Two-time NFL MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson is testing his acting chops on the small screen.
Jackson will make his acting debut on the upcoming season of Starz' "Power Book III: Raising Kanan" as a guest star. The Baltimore Ravens passer will play the role of E-Tone, and according to Jackson, "You don't want to get on his bad side!"
Jackson will be guest starring in just one episode of the fourth season, according to People's Julia Moore.
In "Raising Kanan," Jackson is set to feature alongside stars such as Omar Epps and Joey Bada$$. The show follows a younger Kanan, who was played by executive producer and rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson on previous Starz series "Power."
The 28-year-old Jackson will make his first real foray into the entertainment world after featuring in a commercial for Gatorade and the NFL's "Pro Era II" virtual reality game.
The first-team All-Pro posted a career-best 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns while throwing just four interceptions in 2024. The Ravens won the AFC North with a 12-5 record before falling to the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the playoffs.
